Part of the wine is aged in oak barrels, but it’s still quite discreet, just enough to achieve the desired balance.

Located in Castillon, in the natural extension of the Saint-Émilion plateau, the estate benefits from an exceptional clay-limestone terroir spanning nearly 60 hectares.
A family property for over six centuries, Château de Pitray overlooks the Dordogne Valley from its elegant 15th-century charterhouse.

Nina Mitjaville and Jean de Boigne have been working together since the 2020 vintage.
