Domaine Faiveley’s Gevrey-Chambertin “Cazetiers” is a powerful and expressive cuvée, produced in a climate renowned for the exceptional quality of its Pinot Noirs. The clay-limestone soils of this terroir provide a beautiful structure and intense aromatic richness.
On the nose, the wine reveals deep aromas of black fruits, black cherry, licorice, and spices, accompanied by delicate oak notes. On the palate, it is distinguished by its density, robust yet well-integrated tannins, and a long, lingering finish. This elegant and structured Gevrey-Chambertin pairs perfectly with game dishes, red meats, or mature cheeses.
Since 1825, the Faiveley family has been firmly established in Nuits-Saint-Georges, in the heart of Burgundy’s wine region. For seven generations, they have built and developed an estate that has become one of the most respected in the region, combining tradition, precision, and high standards. Every day, this ordinary family, with a sometimes extraordinary journey, ensures the sustainability and excellence of its vineyards.
Domaine Faiveley now spans some of Burgundy’s most prestigious appellations, from north to south, with a deep commitment to quality and respect for the terroir. Through its wines, the House embodies a vision of Burgundy that is true to its roots while resolutely looking to the future.
