Description Estate Additional information

The Domaine de Trévallon Rouge 2015 is an iconic cuvée made from a blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon and 50% Syrah, grown on very stony limestone and clay soils. This wine is produced using certified organic methods, without added yeast or sulfur, and is aged for 24 months in oak barrels. This approach results in a wine of great purity and remarkable complexity. This cuvée is a late release from the château.

The color of the Trévallon Rouge 2015 is a deep red with purple highlights. On the nose, it reveals intense aromas of ripe red fruits, pepper, licorice, garrigue, and leather, offering a rich and complex aromatic palette. On the palate, this wine has a fine and elegant structure, with silky tannins and a beautiful length on the finish. It can be enjoyed now after aeration, but also has impressive aging potential, which can evolve favorably until 2050 and beyond.

Domaine de Trévallon is an iconic vineyard located in Saint-Étienne-du-Grès, in the heart of the Alpilles region of Provence. Founded in 1973 by Éloi Dürrbach, this estate is renowned for its production of exceptional red and white wines, crafted with respect for nature and tradition.

The estate’s red wine is an atypical blend for the region, composed of equal parts Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah. This combination gives the wine a complex structure, combining power and finesse, with aromas of black fruits, spices, and garrigue. The grapes are harvested by hand, vinified in whole bunches without added yeast or sulfites, and then aged for 24 months in oak barrels. This artisanal process guarantees a pure expression of the estate’s limestone and stony terroir.

Trévallon white wine is a blend of Marsanne, Roussanne, Chardonnay, Clairette, and Grenache Blanc. It is aged for 12 months in oak barrels, grape variety by grape variety, without racking or filtration before bottling. This wine is distinguished by its richness, roundness, and freshness, with aromas of white fruits, flowers, and honey.

The estate has been cultivated organically since its inception, without the use of pesticides or insecticides, favoring viticulture that respects the natural balance of the ecosystem. This approach results in authentic wines that reflect the uniqueness of the Alpilles terroir.

Domaine de Trévallon is considered one of the region’s most prestigious estates, with wines acclaimed by critics and sought after by wine lovers worldwide. Its limited production and commitment to excellence make it an essential reference for connoisseurs.

In short, Domaine de Trévallon embodies the perfect blend of tradition, innovation, and respect for nature, producing wines of rare elegance and great longevity.
