Domaine Faiveley’s Marsannay “Es Chezots” comes from a vineyard located in the upper reaches of the appellation, north of the Côte de Nuits. This terroir of clay and limestone soils produces a Pinot Noir of great purity, combining freshness, depth, and finesse.
The nose opens with aromas of red berries, cherries, and fresh flowers, accompanied by light spicy notes. On the palate, the wine is structured yet supple, supported by beautiful tension and elegant tannins. A Marsannay of character, perfect with grilled meats, roast chicken, or seasonal dishes.
Since 1825, the Faiveley family has been firmly established in Nuits-Saint-Georges, in the heart of Burgundy’s wine region. For seven generations, they have built and developed an estate that has become one of the most respected in the region, combining tradition, precision, and high standards. Every day, this ordinary family, with a sometimes extraordinary journey, ensures the sustainability and excellence of its vineyards.
Domaine Faiveley now spans some of Burgundy’s most prestigious appellations, from north to south, with a deep commitment to quality and respect for the terroir. Through its wines, the House embodies a vision of Burgundy that is true to its roots while resolutely looking to the future.
