The 2019 La Mission Haut-Brion is distinguished by its deep, almost black, garnet color and great density.

The nose opens with a rich bouquet of ripe black fruits—blackberry, blackcurrant, plum—enhanced by notes of violet, sandalwood, graphite, and subtle smoke.
On the palate, it is powerful and structured, with fine, ripe yet firm tannins, offering a velvety texture.
The balancing acidity ensures remarkable freshness, supporting the generous body.

The finish is long, expressive, and mouthwatering, marked by the terroir’s minerality, sweet spices, and fruit that lingers for a long time.

A symbol of excellence and depth, Château La Mission Haut-Brion is one of the jewels of Pessac-Léognan and the Bordeaux vineyards.

Located opposite the legendary Château Haut-Brion, it has also belonged to the Dillon family since 1983.
The property is renowned for producing wines with a unique character, combining power, elegance, and spirituality, inherited from its history with Vincentian priests dating back to the 17th century.

The vineyard covers more than 25 hectares of deep gravel, mixed with clay and sand, in an exceptional terroir that promotes optimal drainage and perfect grape ripeness. This warm, poor, and well-exposed soil is the secret to the intensity and depth that characterize the great wines of La Mission.

Under the direction of Prince Robert of Luxembourg and with exemplary oenological rigor, the estate combines high precision, sustainable organic farming, and careful aging in new barrels.

Each vintage is the expression of a distinct style: sensual, dense, yet always refined.
